- I've been called by phone saying they are coming to inspect the boiler. Is it you?
Beware of fake inspectors! We will NEVER show up at your home without you having called us first or contracted our scheduled maintenance service. Do not allow entry to unidentified technicians who demand cash payment on the spot. An official inspection must leave a paper trail (RITE Certificate).
- If the inspection fails, do they cut my gas?
If a very serious anomaly is detected during the inspection (such as a major gas leak or high levels of carbon monoxide inside the cabin), by law we are obliged to seal the appliance until it is resolved. However, we don't leave you stranded: we offer you immediate repair on the spot so you don't have to suffer the cold.
- Why do I have to pass the inspection if I barely use the heating?
The boiler works all year round to produce hot water for showers and taps, not just heating. This daily use dirties the burners and wears out valves. In addition, natural gas and combustion parts always pose a potential risk if not inspected, regardless of the winter months it has been off.
- If my boiler is under warranty, who should do the inspection?
The maintenance inspection can be done by any company Authorized by Industry (like us) without you losing the legal warranty of the equipment. For repairs of defective parts under warranty, you must contact the Official Technical Service (SAT) of the manufacturer.
